DJ Carmichael Research Team

The research team at DJ Carmichael consists of two Resource Analysts and one Industrial Analyst. The Resource Analysts each had extensive industry experience at senior technical levels, prior to joining DJ Carmichael, with experience on exploration and mining projects through out Australia, but also significant experience overseas in Papua New Guinea, China, and Africa. The research team reflects the West Australian economy's focus on resources and the team have demonstrated the ability to identify high growth companies at an early stage, delivering exceptional returns to investors.

The research team also provides analysis on the ASX200 stocks through its relationship with the Chicago based research and ratings house, Morningstar. Up to date and insightful research on the larger stocks on the ASX complements the resource focused team who focus on the earlier stage opportunities, with some of these companies growing in size to become included in the ASX200 index.

The research team provides Daily, Weekly and Quarterly commentary and investment recommendations covering a range of sectors and , within the resource sector, a range of commodities specialising in iron ore, copper, gold and uranium companies, but also covering companies active in the platinum, manganese, base metals, alternative energy and oil and gas. In the Industrial Sector, our analyst focuses on high growth companies providing downstream services to the larger resource companies.

The Research Team also administer three model portfolios (Conservative, Balanced and Growth) aimed at achieving superior returns to their respective benchmark indices. These are reported on a quarterly basis. Our Financial Advisors are able to leverage off these model portfolios and use them as a basis for construction of portfolios for their clients.
